Bio
Don has resided in Scottsdale since 1958. He attended Coronado High School and graduated from ASU with a Bachelors and Masters degree. Don worked for the City of Scottsdale for 38 years (1976-2014) and was involved with a wide range of aspects of the growth and development of the city.
Don is married to Vivian and they have a son and three grandchildren.
Don joined the Scottsdale Historical Society in 1999 and has served as President twice, Corresponding Secretary, and on the exhibits committee.
Other interests and community service: American Planning Association, Urban Land Institute, Scottsdale Church of the Nazarene and Scottsdale United Methodist Church, Trinitas Communities on Mission, Friends of Geography (ASU), AZ (Valley) Forward, and Scottsdale Community Garden. He also has been listed in the Marquis Who’s Who.
